Just think, if Hillary had won she could be sitting at home watching the impeachment proceedings against President Tim Kaine.
Seriously though, do we really think the GOP House would not have immediately started impeachment proceedings on the basis of "her emails?" And do we really think a GOP house wouldn't have passed them?
In 2017 the Senate was 52/48, Republican to Democrat. Could the GOP have gotten 15 votes to impeach Clinton? That's highly unlikely, but what if the GOP managed to stir up enough chaos that the 2018 elections swung heavily in their favor?
If 2018 was a big GOP year w/ anti-Clinton backlash they could have won close Senate races in AZ, MN, MT, NV, NJ, & WV. That would have gotten them to 58, only 9 short of what would be needed to convict in a Senate trial.
