3/ The IG report reveals Case Agent 1 (Steve Somma?), Supervisory Intel Analyst, and Laufman take part in the January 2017 Primary Sub-source interview.
4/ Of note, while known interviewer Laufman was in London, Steele texts Bruce Ohr that "our guy is OK for the time being", "we can't allow our guy to be forced to go back home". Our guy, being Orbis's source? Home, being Russia? This overlap is no coincidence. H/t @SamScottish5

Although many media organizations are trying to focus on the IG’s finding that the @FBI was within its rights in opening the initial counterintelligence investigation, it should be noted that this was not the focus of the IG’s investigation.
However, Horowitz did note that he had material concerns about the @FBI’s legal ability to open an investigation into the campaign of a presidential candidate:

Horowitz neither impugns nor endorses the FBI for using the dossier itself. He restricted himself to discussing in detail the way the Bureau handled the dossier. 2/47
Horowitz concluded that the FBI’s errors in the handling of the dossier, while they did not involve malicious or politically motivated intent, were serious enough to merit a disciplinary review of the agents and officers involved in the handling of the applications. 3/47

The “pee tape” has been debunked by Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Further, his report released Monday makes clear, the FBI knew early in 2017 that it was a highly dubious story and kept Donald Trump in the dark.
The allegation that the Russians had recorded Trump watching prostitutes performing a "golden showers show" on a bed in a Moscow hotel room once occupied by Obama and wife Michelle was perhaps the most salacious claim made in the Steele dossier.

This is what Horowitz looked at. Note the bottom highlighted text-- it appears the FBI sent one of the Crossfire Hurricane supervisory agents into briefings with the candidates. That's already a big no-no.
Glenn Simpson of FusionGPS and Jonathan Winer, someone who dealt with Steele a lot and was at the center of this Nexus, refused to be interviewed and couldn't be compelled.

Background: The IG review examined the opening of Crossfire Hurricane, the opening of cases on Papadopoulos, Page, Manafort, and General Flynn, Christopher Steele and his role, The Ohr's, and other spies used in the operation.
Horowitz interviewed a ton of people but was not able to compel the testimony of Glenn Simpson and Jonathan Winer, another indication of why the Durham investigation is absolutely necessary before we reach a full conclusion on what happened.
