So why does the Thin Blue Line appear among them? How does it relate to them? And what does that have to do with racism?

The Black Sun is an explicit reference to ideas and iconography from Nazi Germany; only an overt fascist would think to use it.

The Thin Blue Line is used by people who support police, in various senses.

As the work on building Amravati, the new capital city AP, comes to a grinding halt, concerns emerge about Amravati (APCRDA) bonds held by Franklin MF (~Rs. 1000 Cr) and Birla MF (Rs. ~300 Cr). Thread 1/11
During the Chandrababu Govt, Amravati received political as well as financial patronage. Now, with Jagan Reddy being incharge of the state, the project is in shambles. World Bank & ADB pulled out of the project and the Government is looking for reasons to scrap it. 2/n
The bonds issued to support the financing needs of the project were subscribed by Franklin MF and Birla MF. The bonds are guaranteed by the AP Govt but it's not sure if the Govt would keep servicing the bonds. The risk of lending to a state govt has again come to the fore. 3/11

When you consider the traffic situation in Lagos, you cannot discount the importance that rail will play in decongesting our roads. As it stands today, the ruling party in Lagos has nothing to show for the years of investment that have gone into delivering this infrastructure.
Consider this:
Ethiopia began building their light rail at about the same time Lagos began work on the blue rail line. Ethiopia's light rail covers a distance of 32km, has about 39 stops/stations.
Its construction was contracted to the Chinese and finished on schedule (in about 5-yrs)

Lagos' blue line, on the other hand, is expected to cover about 27km, has 13 stops/stations and cost Lagos taxpayers about $1.2billion. Its construction also contracted to the Chinese.

1. @jamesonmcb recent post on Green New Deal and the case for public power has been delightfully disorienting for a lot of folks, especially those who don't know @thebti history that well.
2. GND and public power are progressive Left thing. Belief that climate change won't be solved until clean energy is cheaper, w/o subsidies, taxes, or regs, than dirty is a Right thing. For that matter, so are nuclear energy, GMO's, and intensive agriculture. So what gives?
3. But wait... pretty much every place that has ever built a nuclear power plant has done so through a centralized, vertically integrated power sector, usually state-controlled (in other words, public power). So is that Right or Left?
