●1. Educational Credential Assessment
ECA is a report by an independent company that evaluates your foreign education. The purpose of this report is to make sure your educational certificate equals to a Canadian one

•ICAS: International Credential Assessment Service of Canada
• Comparative Education Service - Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
•ICES: International Credential Evaluation Service.
▪This assessment is done for all degrees, diplomas of both primary & secondary school applicants. If you are applying for EE with your spouse, ECA needs to be done for both of you as there will be 2 diff applications.
ECA is valid for 5 years
Cost is between 200-250 dollars
Duration takes from 1-4 months.
You must take a laguage proficiency test in English or French or both.

👉🏻For French, you take TEF Canada.
At this stage, you should have your language test scores and ECA report with you.
For the purpose of job duties, you should choose your NOC Code (National Occupation Classification)
NOC is a system that groups the work you do
After your profile is successfully created online, based on certain parameters like education, age, job experience and marital status, you should be scored a certain number of point which is your CRS score
(Comprehensive Ranking System).
Draws are conducted every 15 days.

•Reference letters for each work declared
•Medical Certificates
•International Passport
•Police Certificate
•Photographs
•Language Test Report
•Provicial nomination letter/ job offer letter with LMIA

6. Visa stamping
After CIC sends you a mail confirming the approval of your PR, a single entry visa needs to be stamped on your passport.
Make sure to go along with the print out of the confirmation email you received,
submit your photograph and then, your single entry visa is approved.
