Canada Permanent Residency through Express Entry (EE) Steps👇🏻

●1. Educational Credential Assessment

ECA is a report by an independent company that evaluates your foreign education. The purpose of this report is to make sure your educational certificate equals to a Canadian one

Companies which render this service include:

•WES: World Education Services
•ICAS: International Credential Assessment Service of Canada
• Comparative Education Service - Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
•ICES: International Credential Evaluation Service.

•IQAS: International Qualification Assessment Service.

▪This assessment is done for all degrees, diplomas of both primary & secondary school applicants. If you are applying for EE with your spouse, ECA needs to be done for both of you as there will be 2 diff applications.

□ Documents required for this assessment are Original transcript in sealed envelope abd copies of degree or diploma certificate.

ECA is valid for 5 years
Cost is between 200-250 dollars
Duration takes from 1-4 months.

2. Proof of language proficiency.
You must take a laguage proficiency test in English or French or both.
👉🏻 For English, you take IELTS GENERAL
👉🏻For French, you take TEF Canada.

3. Create your Express entry Profile

At this stage, you should have your language test scores and ECA report with you.

For the purpose of job duties, you should choose your NOC Code (National Occupation Classification)
NOC is a system that groups the work you do

base on your field of occupation.

After your profile is successfully created online, based on certain parameters like education, age, job experience and marital status, you should be scored a certain number of point which is your CRS score
(Comprehensive Ranking System).

You would receive an invitation to apply (ITA ) from the government of Canada once the cut off score equals or goes below your CRS score.

Draws are conducted every 15 days.

4. You have 60 days to get required documents for you to submit your your application after you get an ITA.
The documents required are:

•Reference letters for each work declared
•Medical Certificates
•International Passport
•Police Certificate
•Photographs

•Marriage/Divorce Certificates

•Language Test Report
•Provicial nomination letter/ job offer letter with LMIA
•Proof of funds.👇🏻

( family member (1) needs to show proof of $🇨🇦12,000.
A family of (2) people need to show $🇨🇦 15, 772.
A family of (3) 🇨🇦$19,390.)

5. Scan copies of documents within 60 days . Provide detailed information on your travel history, past residences for the last ten years.

Pay Visa and PR application fee

Note that the processing time for processing your application takes from 1-6 months.

(Please note,
Express Entry is an online system that CIC use to manage applications for permanent residence from skilled workers.)

6. Visa stamping

After CIC sends you a mail confirming the approval of your PR, a single entry visa needs to be stamped on your passport.

You then pay a fee at the VFS Centre.

Make sure to go along with the print out of the confirmation email you received,
submit your photograph and then, your single entry visa is approved.
