the coolest thing to me about getting to some tiny level of “public figure” is that you get to see yourself through other people’s eyes. I know that it probably gets grotesque eventually, but at this stage it feels wholesome, novel and stimulating

where should I stay in NYC when I visit for 3 weeks in April/May? me + wife, hoping to not spend too much $$
I don't really know tbh. we're still feeling it out. I'm kinda flexible. I don't really want to be somewhere faaar out of the way and spend hours and hours commuting everyday either. want to meet as many friends as possible
for some context I was pretty happy commuting from Berkeley to SF via BART, I actually enjoyed that quite a bit

I’ve read and studied about procrastination, motivation, blah blah blah for 10+ years now, definitely read over 1m words about it, definitely written over 100k words about it

Been trying to figure out my most personal take/frame on it all, trying to find my personal tuning fork
Some of my riffs

- mvp model of personal dev
- slingshot theory
- share info surplus with others
- meaning of life is friends / find the others
- school isolates
- don’t fill buckets, light fires
- be prolific, in public
- turn up the voltage
- vectors
- infinite games
I think this is close to my core frame, (still need to think on it):

I feel like most productivity thinking begins with the atomized self as the core unit

I reject this frame; I am fundamentally a social being

However, I’ve always loved Moore’s pitch black sense of humour and grim juxtapositions.

There are some bombshells in here, just notifying us of evidence & inquiries! @SidneyPowell1 is not being polite! Accusing the prosecutors of being unwilling or unable to recognize Brady material unless it’s far worse than that.
@SidneyPowell1 Demanding production of a letter from the British Embassy disavowing Christopher Steele & warning he is unreliable. This was sent to both Obama’s NSA Susan Rice & Trump’s team likely Flynn during the transition. Not sure if DOJ would have it! But now that they know of it...

0/ long thread on the recent @DigixGlobal $DGD to ETH burn proposal that has just ended.

i'll try to make the first bit as factual as possible and leave my bias towards the end.

so, what is this vote about and why is it important?
1/ DGD raised a shit ton of ETH back in 2016

they spent a bit here and there and now have ~400,000 ETH in their DAO treasury

these are the 2 addresses with the ETH

(394,466 ETH to be exact)
2/ the interesting thing about DigixDAO (DGD) is that since it is a DAO, the majority of the tokenholders can vote to dissolve the DAO and distribute out the assets of the DAO.

with 2M DGD tokens floating around, that works out to roughly 0.197 ETH per DGD token.

AU: Taehyung is fascinated by the arms of the guy in front of him in one of his lectures, and so he often doodles them, paying extra attention to the tattoos he has on both his arms. One day, he checks the drawings he did and notices the tattoos change regularly.

So one day that the guy has his arms covered by his shirt, Taehyung decides to flip through his copybook to look at his already drawn pictures of the man's sleeves tattoos. Except everytime, there's a small detail that changes, until it's not the same tattoo anymore.
But he's sure he drew them exactly as he saw them. He didnt take art classes for THIS to happen. So he pays extra attention the next few weeks, and either he's completely mental or this man's tattoos change. All. The. Time.
