@BLRAirport opened in 2008 and was slated to cater to 8-10 million pax at start , which quickly doubled to 20million for which the terminal was quickly expanded and now in 2020 - 12 years after opening is projected to cater to 95Million pax !

@BLRAirport BMTC operates a clutch airport express- #VayuVajra to the airport from several areas of the city & is the only Public Transport option available to travelers.
This service is mostly preferred by Single pax during the day with very little luggage.

Airport metro connectivity from the city wud have made the ride a pleasant experience minus the traffic jams.

Running a dedicated train on existing infra - rail tracks wud have been the quickest way to provide mass transport connectivity to the airport .
Finally a airport halt station is being done.
