One of the key things I love Obafemi Awolowo for is providing alternative to a problem not just criticism. You said securing loan is not acceptable. Forget about borrowing to pay salaries then. Let us discuss d alternative to fund our infrastructural issues. Discuss with facts

Guys. One key solution as suggested by @FAGalileo is to amend Railway Act that gives exclusive right to FG since 1950s. I call on @SPNigeria @femigbaja to look into this pls. This is the kind of discussion I want to engage in 2020 and not Facebook discussion
7. I shared earlier @FAGalileo ‘s solution . I am also sharing @ejiro_andrew ‘s view that toll EAST - WEST. It means FG should look for an INVESTOR . Infrastructure concessions Regulatory Commission plus Works & Niger Delta Ministries must work together to realize his solution

2nd Niger Bridge: this project was awarded in March, 2014 to our own Julius Berger at a cost of N130bn under Public Private Partnership (PPP) for 48months. As at January 17, 2015, a sum of N10bn has been spent as GEJ stated himself on his way to Onitsha to campaign for election
2. What was awarded to Julius Berger then was in 4 phases which involves piling work and others. When Buhari sorry new FG took over, d main contract was awarded at a cost of N206b. But between Jan 2015 till May 29, 2015 no cash backing from Works Ministry to JB again
3. Issues arose & FG decided that funding 2nd Niger Bridge via normal budgetary can never complete d project . Don’t forget that d original concept was PPP. As usual, d private sector refused to commit their funds since it was election year.

I am begging parents to encourage their children to study RAILWAY ENGINEERING as Nigeria is making progress in this sector. Today @ProfOsinbajo will perform d. ground-breaking of RAILWAY WAGON ASSEMBLY in KAJOLA, Ogun State. Forget about APC/PDP, this is d new money making sector
2. KAJOLA people in Diaspora, send money home and start building houses . That corridor in the next 5years will be expensive. U too can INVEST in that area. Forget about PDP / APC issues, go and make money . SMEs around that area should put up their thinking caps now.
3. We have less than 1,000 Nigerians in Railway Engineering sector as experts . I am not talking about those who studied Mechanical or Mettallurgical Engineering. NUC/ ASUU should do something about this too instead of IPPIS wahala .

Someone shared this deep offshore law that @MBuhari signed in London with me . Can u imagine that Agbami , Akpo, Bonga & Erha have not been paying royalty. Juiciest oil blocks. No rent was paid to Nigeria on 4 out of every 10barrels of oil extracted. Loss of big revenue guys
2. NEITI said failure of authority to review PSC terms as demanded by the law of 1993 , Nigeria lost between $16.03b to $28.61b within 10years (2008 to 2017) Crazy . And we are borrowing money from International lenders since 1994 till date .
3. We lost an average of $2b per year as a result of negligence on the part of authorities then. The new law now assigned responsibilities and sanctions for subsequent reviews. For production from 200m , royalty rate now ranges from 10% when d oil price is below $20

One of the cultural things I love most are Podcasts- I pretty much alternate between Podcasts & Music in my ears every free minute. I'm always up for a recommendation- so I'll throw out a few I love & I'd love to hear what you're into!
