trying out @code and already incredibly impressed

as usual with we-dont-use-native-ui programs, there are a bunch of idiosyncrasies with its menus

alt + arrow keys normally let you move horizontally even if you have a menu open... but in vs code, nope. gotta hit esc to go back to the menu bar

my favorite has to be the "let us do telemetry" notification you get, which rather than letting you turn it off, or even taking you to the settings where you can do that, instead... offers to open a browser window to ms's help site about it

a custom setting to enable menubar mnemonics that doesn't even fucking work. (note that i already have them enabled in other windows and it Just Works but not here, nope!)

i also love the settings page, because nothing screams 'usable' to me like having every setting in a single page. hope you don't miss the headers between sections, which are only differentiated by slightly bigger fonts
