Remember that Mouse slows you down. It’s a tool loved by the Designers.

Use Keyboards as much as you can. The keyboard is for hackers (read Computer Scientists).

Use the basic macOS shortcuts:
• To switch apps, don’t click the Icons in Mac’s Dock. Use Cmd + Tab.
• To open an app, use Cmd + Space and type the name of the app like “Chrome” or “iTerm”.
• Use Alt + Arrow keys to jump words

Use an external keyboard.

• Configure the Home and End keys.
• Use Cmd + Arrow to move to the start and end of the line.

Basic VSCode tips
• Use Shift + Cmd + P in VSCode to find the hidden menu items in the top bar menus.
• To switch between the open files in VSCode, use Ctrl + Tab.
• Cmd + D is a powerful and quick replacement of Find & Replacement

Customize VSCode according to your need.
• Install all the needed extensions.

• Be careful, it might wipe out your existing extensions.

• Install the Code Snippet of the framework which you’re using. We have Code Snippets for React, Flutter, React Native. Create your own if needed.

• Use VSCode's integrated debugger with Unit Test cases to quickly build things and test it right inside VSCode. Jest + VSCode debugger has worked really well for me.

Install the terminal of your choice — Use iTerm / Hyper.
• And use Zsh with Oh My Zsh.
• Add your own CLI Aliases
