Look, people, I don't know how much more clear the Left has to be. From illegal immigration to gun control, they are VERY comfortable with sacrificing your lives to achieve their political ends. Understand, if you vote for them, that you're considered an acceptable loss.
"Sanctuary cities" are explicitly premised on the idea that dead Americans are a small price to pay for left-wing immigration ideology. You're not supposed to notice or comment on the dead, or you'll be condemned as a racist. The casualties are quite literally deemed irrelevant.
And this is coming from the people who shriek that "saving just one life" is worth unlimited sacrifices of money and freedom to accomplish goals they DO care about.
After this weekend, we're getting a double dose of evidence that some lives matter very little to the Left when measured against its quest for power. "Intersectionality" demands we cannot seriously discuss violence against Jews if the perps aren't "white supremacists."
And then you've got the leftists who wish the hero who stopped the church shooting was disarmed. The lives he saved count for little in their minds against their ideology and political agenda. It's the same impulse that suppresses all stories about Good Guys with Guns.
Why would any sane person vote to support an ideology that considers them "acceptable losses" if they die in pursuit of its political goals? And that's ALWAYS the bottom line with the Left and collectivism. They view the Little People as pawns and don't mind losing a few. /end
