Joe Biden did NOT say he’s considering a Republican running mate. He said he’d consider a Republican, but he can’t think of any. He was diplomatically dispatching with a question that was designed to trip him up. He answered fine, but the media is now lying about what he said.
This is the second time this week we’ve seen the mainstream media try to promote a phony Biden story. This is a notable shift, considering how good the media had previously been about not promoting fake Biden stories.
Maybe the media is suddenly pulling this crap because it’s a holiday slow news week. Or maybe they’ve decided it’s okay to start lying about Biden because the polls show that his status as front runner is becoming more solidified (at least for now).
No matter which candidate you support, you should be alarmed at this. If you think the media’s lies about Biden are going to pave a path for your candidate, just think about the lies will make up about your candidate once he/she becomes the new front runner.
To be clear, Biden COULD NOT say “no” to the question. It would have handed the republicans an easy talking point for 2020. The reporter who asked the question knows this. Asking it was a bullshit move designed to create a phony controversy.
Also, Joe Biden keeps leaking that Stacey Abrams is his first choice for running mate – which makes clear he’s not actually going to pick a Republican VP. Duh.

It wasn’t a gaffe on Biden’s part. It wasn’t a wrong answer. It was the only possible answer to a bullshit question.
The media played the “get ratings by making up lies about the front runner” game throughout 2016, and most of you were silent about it unless it happened to affect your candidate. It’s the main reason Trump is in power now. If you’re not willing to push back this time, bite me.
