I'm willing to go on record predicting that the new voting system will NOT be ready in time for March 4 early voting across the state in any organized way. @GaSecofState is telling half the story at best. 1/

2/ I'll be happy to be wrong.
But we've seen some internal communications and they don't make the "we're ahead of schedule" press reports.

Getting some of the BMDs in is a far cry from having a full system working!
3/ Plus they haven't solved the problem of the violation of ballot secrecy as your votes on the screens can be seen from across the room.

But the point is that the claims are very misleading for candidates, campaigns, political parties, voters, attorneys, all of whom have to make decisions on recounts and challenges. 1/
@benadida @mattblaze @VerifiedVoting @voting_works @philipbstark @rad_atl Signing "audits" of the vote outcome, and not correcting the SOS reports, is doing a real disservice (to put it nicely) to the losers in the election. @Voting_Works and @VerifiedVoting are putting their thumbs on the scales.

It will cause a judge to have grounds to throw out an election challenge.

The unsurprising case of @GaSecofState's effort to intimidate me and other witnesses to the embarrassing failures of the new voting system--follow this thread.

Background: Professor @rad_atl, @rjomartin and I observed polls on Election Day in two pilot counties for BMDs. 1/
2/ Several volunteer observers spent weeks of early voting documenting the problems with the new system, so we knew what to look for. We acted as public observers. No credentials are required per GA law.

SOS staff saw us observing and documenting and initiated a complaint.
3/ Here is a copy of the complaint summary the SOS initiated for Watson Center in Dallas. Note the "complainant" is the SOS.

1. There were no voting booths to enter.
2. I did not get within the 6 foot restricted area.
3. You were in exactly the same place, as was NYTimes.
4. I took no pictures. You did.
@stphnfwlr 2/. 5. Public need not "register" to observe all election activities.

You know that these are fabricated charges to attempt to intimidate witnesses to the failed voting system pilots.

Note the law below.

Let's start with the women's marathon. There were certainly a lot of DNFs. 28 in total. But that only tells a small part of the story. High attrition rates in these races is common: The men's marathon in Osaka '07 had 50% drop out, and the Olympics went ahead in Beijing 1yr later
Let's talk about those 28. I was told that not a single woman used an ice bath before the race (no-one in the walks who ice bathed to my knowledge dropped out, in fact most performed very well). Re-watching the race at the start only a couple athletes had cold towels etc...

False. Family farms dominate today.

Their dominance is MADE POSSIBLE by automation.

There's the same number of white land-owning family farmers as of 2012 as in 1920: 3 million & change.

The "average farm size" prior to automation was super small

bc of how many of the "farms" were just tenant farmers' designated plots on big farms.

That's a weird way to do the data bc tenant farmers WEREN'T FARMERS like we think of them today. They were FARM LABOR.

To blogpost real quick: Last time I went to the hospital was when I was a sophomore in high school. I collapsed for some weird reason and split my chin open and got like eight stitches. Hospitals aren't very fun.

She also had money. A LOT. I would see her come home with a lululemon or Sephora bag every other day. Which is cool, buy whatever u want. I buy unnecessary items too
The thing is, she would buy like every new makeup product that came out at Sephora and NEVER use it. The same beauty blender sat there for the entire time we lived together. Never used.
