1) US dilutes Iran oil sanction. INDIA to go ahead on Chabahar port work. Foreign Secretary Jaishankar in IRAN.
2) India-IRAN will trade in INR to save lot of our FOREX reserves!

3) Biggest train bridge approved that will reduce travel time between Assam & Arunachal from 600 km to 40 km

4) In-land water transport extended to reduce logistic costs.

Today had the opportunity to spend time with one of the finest fund manager in mutual fund. One to one talk. Just sharing some ideas we came up with to bring cheer to Economy. RT ideas you feel are worth pondering
1. Scrap LTCG. It is a dampener on the broader stock markets. Nifty is going high only on few stocks when many small and midcap good quality companies have no markets for trading.

No asset class including real estate has generated wealth. So consumption is suffering. Scrap LTCG
2. Infrastructure in India is behind other Emerging Economies. Reason that state and centre have 50% say. Every five year state govt changes and infra brought to halt

Infra are long gestation. If interrupted are huge loss to exchequer

First we took their children away.

We detained them like prisoners, drugged them if they got rowdy.

We lost track of some. Didn't bother to track others.

Some babies, we made face judges alone.

We have 65 still in custody. Their parents...gone.

I keep getting asked, ‘what can we, ordinary Hindus do for the Dharma?’

I am no expert on Dharma, but here are ten easy steps we can all take at our individual levels to assert our identity as Hindus. #Hindu #Identity #HinduPride
1) Tell your kids or nephews or nieces, or kids you know stories from our history and religion. Buy them Indic books. Take them to see Hindu temple architecture, and when they ask you, pointing at a vandalised Murti, ‘what happened here’? Tell them the truth, with the names!
2) Have a Pooja corner in your house. Have a regular ritual. Light a lamp. Make children pray before they set out for school. Just a simple chanting of a few shlokas is enough to keep them connected if you do it on a daily bases. Visit a temple on festivals or on their birthday.
