I love working with volunteers, and I love the Apple II community, and I love the projects I've been involved with related to the Apple II. There is a project I've been unable to find any volunteers for in over a year, and I'm super confounded by it. Let me ask it again.
There are over 500 items in the WOZ A DAY collection at the archive. These are meticulously verified, imaged, and intact versions of commercial Apple II software throughout the 1980s and before/beyond. They're often (often!) the first time these versions have ever been available.
Here's the thing. 4AM, the project coordinator, imager and verifier, doesn't have the time to write anything other than a perfunctory entry about what exactly the program is. So it'll usually give a very short description, often based on the disk label. archive.org/details/wozada…

Hey boy, are you The Act of Sending Keystrokes to Chrome In A Headless X Display? Because you're an obscure set of impossible to debug commands lurking in the basement of one random chromium bugtracker from 2014
I'm but a simple caveman, but the syntax for "send a keystroke directly to a Chromium instance in an X display" should probably not be DISPLAY=:1 xdotool search --class Chrome key --window %@ 'G', which actually isn't working in the script because of a layer of abstraction
Thankfully, once it works, it will save me years of time, so I have that going for me.

A lot of people of colour vote for the Liberal Party in their riding, not because they are not progressive or because they hate the NDP but because Tories are genuinely a bigger threat to us. Some white progressives refuse to understand this. We are not rubes. We are pragmatic.
I talk about electoral reform a lot, so some disclaimers:

1. I am an anti-capitalist and do not like the Liberal Party

2. I support Proportional Representation (STV my fav)

3. I live in a riding where Tories average 12% of the vote and I volunteered for NDP last election.
While Libs are no superstars on immigration but due to their immigration law change, I am a Permanent Resident now and will be able to become a citizen in 2 yrs. During the election, at one pt, I was genuinely worried that Tories might win, change the laws & make my life harder

The Constitution and the Nation itself is the real target. This Nation and its ornery People are all that stands in the way of globalist totalitarianism. The 2nd amendment was one of the most important amendments that the founding fathers wrote into our constitution.
People seem to forget the largest militia in the world is you. There are about 150+ million gun owners in the country, and those 150 million gun owners have enough firearms to arm every single one of the 393 million men and women living in the country if things went haywire.

So, I have a whole bunch of thoughts about unions in a food service business. Should I share them? I'm not even sure I could organize them all. But here it goes. /1
For background, I have been in bars, restaurants hotels and consulting for many many years. (I don't want to date myself hehe). I have been employee, manager, employer, so I have seen all side of the coin. I have also been part of a union, and worked for non-union companies. /2
I am a firm believer that there is a need for unions. Otherwise, we'd all still be working for $2 per hour with no benefits, etc. /3

All tax laws must originate in the (people's) House.

1/ Currency users are constrained by the money in their bank accounts. Currency issuers are constrained by their domestic supply of real resources*.

Issuers also set the BOUNDARIES of constraints for its users. If they want their citizens to be constrained more, they spend less.
2/

The more citizens are constrained, the more they are dependent on the whims and BEGRUDGING GENEROSITY of the privileged few – those who happen to be sitting on an (effectively) infinite stockpile of money.
3/ When a currency issuer spends less, it is their way of stepping aside to allow the wealthy few to *become* the government for those severely limited by money. A desperation that THEY CAUSED, by withholding their ABUNDANCE of resources from the people.
