Hey boy, are you The Act of Sending Keystrokes to Chrome In A Headless X Display? Because you're an obscure set of impossible to debug commands lurking in the basement of one random chromium bugtracker from 2014
I'm but a simple caveman, but the syntax for "send a keystroke directly to a Chromium instance in an X display" should probably not be DISPLAY=:1 xdotool search --class Chrome key --window %@ 'G', which actually isn't working in the script because of a layer of abstraction
Thankfully, once it works, it will save me years of time, so I have that going for me.
I have it working manually which means one day I hope to be a real boy and make it work automatically.

Hints are slipping out in every direction of the method used for filming The Mandalorian. This excites me because it eventuially all filters down to kids and folks who just want to make nice movies.
I'm sure Cinefex or someone will nail this and I can read it, but it appears that what they do is put the actors in a space, with large screens behind them, and the image on the screens moves to accommodate the camera movements so the illusion is complete.
Bill Burr called the experience "vertigo", which highlights the idea that these screens are in your vision at all time and you have to work around that. Like greenscreen work, it takes a certain element of actor to adjust to it.

I got a call from Cade Metz (@cademetz) a day ago about Randy Suess having passed and an obituary about him being written for the NY Times. I gave him all the information I had, gave him Ward Christensen's e-mail, links to all my research/artifacts on him. nytimes.com/2019/12/20/tec…
Randy didn't want to have a thing to do with the BBS Documentary. I'd been working under the assumption that he wasn't going to be in it. (Ward Christensen was ready, willing, and did 5 hours of interviews across two days.) It happened because a saint of a man intervening.
His name was Peter Zelchenko @pzelchenko and he was my sherpa to getting an interview with Randy. We holed up at a nearby bar, Peter called Randy, offered pizza, and we came to his place with my camera. Randy took the pizza, sat with us while eating it, then did the interview.

Hey, how's this for autism 'awareness' month: some percentage of you who are reading this tweet are #actuallyAutistic and aren't aware of it.

I'm going to post a bunch of questions I wish I had been asked in this context, years ago. This is not diagnosis! But it's instructive.
Do you need a lot of time alone? Even in a relationship or family, even when you really love the other people in your life, even (especially?) when there isn't anything particularly pressing for you to do?
Do loud noises cause you distress? Or background sounds that won't quiet stop? Do you prefer to keep the lights off? Are there foods you can't eat or fabrics you can't wear because the textures just "feel bad" in a way you can't explain?

…. so compute is a utility [A] which we use in our internal value chain. But we also decide to expose this as an API so others can build on top. This might include thousands of things i.e. people building “big data” systems [B] which we might use to unrelated applications [C, D]

One #DFIR / #INFOSEC thing that is useful to me that I wished I had learned sooner: the art of PDB path pivoting for #threatintel and mal analysis. This is pretty easy, but can be a crazy strong pivot for anyone studying large, tenured threat groups such as many espionage actors.

What are PDBs?

Program Data Base (PDB) files are used to store debugging info about a program when it is compiled. The PDB stores symbols, addresses, names of resources etc. Malware devs often have to debug their code and end up creating PDBs as a part of their dev process.
