The blind, the leprous, the woman with the issue of blood etc were never friends of Jesus Christ nor wish to be a disciple. They however believed in His works based on testimony by others with direct experience. It was their ailment/issue cum faith that pushed them to seek Him.⛱
In a country where you’re an issue away from being helpless, isn’t it wise to lower the possibility of shame should you have to eat your words? U join multitudes to do evil forgetting God have a sense of humor. The one you’ve been vilifying for crumbs may be your destiny helper.
As it were in those days so it is today. The Pharisees were even vilifying those who testified of being healed by Jesus. They said all sorts and tried to implicate them, excoriating Jesus Christ until they had their way with pontius pilate & pardoned a murderer for a sunless man.
When we read the Bible we see these things and are quick to condemn hypocritically but we are guilty of the same thing in our daily lives. Some of us have been pushed to become a shadow of ourselves working against the Kingdom of God and leading a life of lies and hate.
