Encouraging false hope about Bolton (of all fucking people) coming thru for us is just irresponsible. How many times are we going to demobilize people with savior scenarios they can watch and hope for? And this is what those fantasies have sunk to? Bolton. Stop doing this y'all.
I seriously saw someone say that they think Bolton wants to be on the right side of history. These people do not share your freaking values. What you call the right side, they call bullshit.
I said the same thing when ppl were saying it was possible the Senate would remove. It was both false hope & demobilizing. The Dems should have been real from the beginning that the Senate trial is rigged. They could have used that to rally voters and registration this whole time
People got their hopes up so high about Mueller that they threatened to riot in defense of the rule of law, which ftr doesn't make any fucking sense.
Misdirected hope is misdirected energy. And we need energy in the right places right now.
Also remember that there are people who benefit financially from creating suspense where none should exist. Those people aren't reliable narrators.
