1. The UN #Nuremberg Principles made crimes against humanity not subject to immunity. I can't tell if it has the force of law but I think it arguably does. If Trump can pardon people like Eddie Gallagher how is that not a Nuremberg violation?
2. @POTUS has no immunity but can just pardon? That seem to be at odds. Could that be unlawful under the UN resolution? We never signed up for Criminal Court but we did sign up for Nuremberg. Nuremberg says these crimes stick even if local law says not.

From the document -
3. Principal 2: "The fact that internal law does not impose a penalty for an act which constitutes a crime under international law does not relieve the person who committed the act from responsibility under international law."

Does that say Eddie Gallagher's pardon didn't stick?
4. My greatest fear is that if Trump continues to violate the law of armed conflict and those crimes put our own forces' legal protections in jeopardy for simply obeying the command. There's a reason why we follow the law. It protects US. @DoD_IG
5. I don't think either party @SenateDems or @SenateGOP are taking this growing threat to our force seriously. @JimInhofe @SenJackReed.

And to Eddie: If your pal Trump hadn't done his 52 war crimes Tweet I'd be doing something else today. @EsperDoD @FBIWFO @NewYorkFBI
