2/In response to IR655, Iran blew up a civilian plane and killed 259 people. This was planned by Iran’s Khatam-ol-Anbiya Operation Centre, at the time responsible for foreign operations. What is interesting is that at the time, Rouhani was the commander of this force.
3/After blowing up Pan Am 103, Rouhani got promotion and appointed as the Second-in-Command of Iran's Joint Chiefs of Staff.
