John Kerry condemns, “Donald Trump and his friend Steve Bannon,” here in Clinton, Iowa. “Our Constitution is being shredded,” he says.
Just like Joe Biden, John Kerry has a habit of saying “no joke!” while talking about something that nobody would think was a joke. Is this a generational thing?
In Clinton, Iowa, John Kerry says, “Everything that has happened that brought us to the brink of war in the last week,” can be traced back to Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear agreement due to his, “hatred of anything that Obama touched.”
John Kerry says that some people use the Iowa caucuses as “a place to send messages” about policies like Medicare. “I’ve got news for you,” he says: some of the healthcare proposals candidates are talking about not only won’t get votes from Republicans, but from Democrats either.
“Do not succumb to the notion that it’s OK to have a favorite issue” and that’s what determines the way you vote in the caucuses, John Kerry says. He asks voters to vote for the whole candidate (Biden) that they want to be president instead.
