Dear God,

I have a few questions which I would want You to answer. I do not want to rely on scriptural quotations, I do not want to listen to a priest or a pastor preach, I do not want to listen to a proverb or a quotation that relates to my questions.
I want to have a direct conversation with you. I want to know the plans you have for me. I want to know the right steps to take today. I want to know if I am making the right choices. I want to ask so many questions and I want the answers to come directly from You.
I do not speak out of disrespect or doubt. I do not speak out of frustration or rebellion. My faith in you is not weary and I have not lost hope. I simply long for the conversation that will guide me today and lead me on the path for tomorrow.

A father left 17 camels as an asset for his three sons. When the father passed away, his sons opened up the will.

"Scroll Down"
The Will stated that the eldest son should get half of 17 camels while the middle son should be given 1/3rd (one-third). The youngest son should be given 1/9th (one-ninth) of the 17 camels.
As it is not possible to divide 17 into half or 17 by 3 or 17 by 9, three sons started to fight with each other. So, the three sons decided to go to a wise man.

The data we have (from @VividSeats) is truly incredible. In every county, we have a record of the share of concert/etc ticket sales that fall into each genre in 2015/19. Here's that map (with each county scaled for population). Cities like rap/hip hop. Rural areas like country.
The music genre that most correlates with Republican vote share is, as you might expect, country music. A preference for "New Age" music (whatever that is) and Rock are also "red". Rap, Hip Hop & R&B, as mentioned, are "blue" music—as is liking alternative artists or Latin music.

I see this concept, this burden, this prediction in people, systems, and sometimes myself. I have never seen it be useful or true, ever. Not once.

You get to fail. How you learn.
I don't say this much, but if there's somebody in your life that needs to see that message, please forward it to them. I've never seen any idea ruin more lives than desperate perfection. I've never been more relieved than when I realized, OK, I'm still here. I get to learn.
There's an addendum here, and it's a bit dangerous to talk about. But I want to say this here, now. It may help.

Men and women both suffer from this "one and done" fear of failure error. Bug in western culture.

The bug does not seem to expose the same across gender lines.
