1. Wouldn't it make sense that, rather than drafting everyone we just draft folks who already have guns? I think there is a rational basis efficiency in that so it might pass constitutional scrutiny. Have a gun? You go to war first. How? The #WellRegulated #UnorganizedMilitia.
2. The first thing I looked for in Scalia's absurd Heller opinion is his discussion of the actual federally defined "Militia" in 12 USC 246. He didn't even mention it.
