Real reform here would be mandating AT MINIMUM telling the Gang of 8 of any CI investigation involving a presidential campaign and providing full access to any FISAs/search warrants involved to Congress for independent review
Also another basic reform would be a requirement for the FBI/DOJ to defensively brief the campaign(s) involved
And if they claim they can’t because it would risk the investigation, having to provide in writing good cause justification, signed under penalty of perjury by AG/FBI-D
