Hey fellow Dems, time for a group hug, whaddya say? We may not all agree on everything but we sure do know how important it is to save the country from another term with Trump as president and also how important it is to restore opportunity and economic security to all Americans.
That's plenty to keep us together even as we debate what our specific priorities should be and who our candidate for president should be. By all means make the best case for your views and favorites, but remember that in just a couple months we all have to be pulling together.
So we should avoid saying things that will leave scars and we should acknowledge that no candidate will win without the support of the entire party. We need each other. The country needs us. It's elementary but apparently sometimes it is easy to forget.
