This is where we are, America. Allowing shoddy, junk-science to send people to death row and, regularly, to their executions.

To be clear, the sentence in Bryan’s case was not death. But many death sentences rest on such junk-science testimony. And for Bryan, it has meant, effectively, life in prison:
