Yes, how on planet Earth can anyone keep up with this stuff?

I'm still not sure if the Paris Agreement uses a 1750 baseline (which shows we're at 1.3 or 1.4?)?

The fact is, people don't know whether we're at 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, or 1.4. Neither can we grasp the implications easily.

Whenever I talk about this I feel like an idiot, but I suspect the idiocy doesn't lie with me. It's all clear as mud.
I read something recently saying the Paris Agreement baseline wasn't clear, or there was no consensus on it or something. Now I can't find the article. Great.
