The problem with people like @MMFlint and @SusanSarandon and even @CornelWest is that, for as much as they rail against rampant capitalism, they make money from being progressive contrarians and, with Trump in office, business is good. Sanders losing keeps the gravy train going.
@MMFlint @SusanSarandon @CornelWest A lot of these "progressives" aren't interested in coming up with pragmatic, incremental, or workable solutions that are rooted in actual facts or real politics. They have to lean to the extreme to appeal to the same lefty base as the GOP has succumbed to with the Tea Party.
@MMFlint @SusanSarandon @CornelWest When you ignore the obvious pitfalls of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warrens most aggressive plans (see: M4A & free college), the biggest one is basic math. You need 60 votes in the Senate and that's just not practical without a 12 year plan to build a state-by-state operation.

There's just more irrational promises being made about "revolutions" somehow overcoming reality. It's a lie.

Grifters who know that their ideas aren't serious or workable, but emotional triggers to keep people mad so they make money.
