DAY 1: MIDNIGHT MITCH LOSES OVER AND OVER

1. Tried to keep opening arguments to 4 days. LOST.
2. Tried to conclusively block admission of House record. LOST.
3. Tried to stack arguments on witnesses so Democrats wouldn't be able to tell America why each witness is critcal. LOST.
PS/ The tabling of the Democrats' many amendments, which may seem a "win" for McConnell, was already assured—it was "baked into" today's events. The tweet above itemizes any and all "surprise" developments in today's (still ongoing) hearing. McConnell lost basically all of those.
PS2/ McConnell lost the opening-argument issue (4 days not 6) because of a GOP rebellion. He lost the House-record issue (mandatory vs. conditional language) because of a GOP rebellion. He lost the "stacking" issue because he hasn't been honest with Dems and they owe him nothing.

BREAKING at CNN: Trump is saying he'll block new evidence via executive privilege; McConnell—who promised to abide by Trump's wishes—is now telling GOP senators to vote down witnesses or documents because it'd take too long to fight Trump: the same position the GOP hit Dems for.
PS/ It's not enough to call this a "sham trial" or a "hoax" or a "scam" or to say "the fix is in." Jurors secretly coordinating with a defendant to have him issue a threat that jurors then happily allow themselves to be "intimidated" into a dismissal by is a conspiracy. A *plot*.
PS2/ Evidence of "corrupt intent" is everywhere. Trump's lawyers are in court arguing the opposite of what they're saying in the Senate. The GOP is making one argument against the House, and then acting in exactly the way they've attacked the House for. It's absolutely sickening.

(ANNOUNCEMENT) An earlier tweet of mine about Sanders and the DNC is being deliberately misread—and I'd like it to stop. I wrote a tweet noting the DNC wants to stop Sanders but is going about it in a silly way. I *don't endorse* the DNC interfering in the primaries *whatsoever*.
PS/ I've got a long history of being *very* unhappy with how the DNC runs primaries—includes 2016 *and* 2020. Anyone claiming I'm a DNC shill looking to screw with Sanders is trying to get themselves spun up over nothing just to feel something. Find someone else to pirouette off.
PS2/ Like many of you, I'm tired of DNC stupidity—even as I'm a proud Dem. I observed the DNC wants to stop Sanders; it does. I observed it's doing that by going all-in on a fading Biden; it is. I noted that were one a DNC flack, there'd be better strategies to get what it wants.

RETWEET if you think Democrats should immediately move to DISMISS from the jury any Senator who has been recorded as being ABSENT from the impeachment trial for more than one emergency of no more than 15 minutes. This is the first day of the trial, and 21 GOP Senators are absent.
PS/ Per LAW & CRIME, a legal news website, attendance at the impeachment trial was outlined by *both* the majority and minority leaders as *mandatory* for all Senators. So it's not clear how any of these folks are safe from disqualification under the rules to which *they* agreed.
PS2/ GOP senators who've run from the truth of who this president is—now faced with being *forced* to listen to reality—have literally *fled* to their offices. Apparently FNC is cutting away from the trial to allow Trump's legal team to rebut Schiff *over Schiff's presentation*.

Mitch McConnell's poker face finally broke. After 2 hours of talking and 15 mins after senators expected a break, Schiff seems to wrap up then says "now let me turn to the second article of impeachment."

McConnell threw his hands down and made a clear "are you kidding me?" face.

Opening arguments in Harvey Weinstein's rape trial have started. The presentation by the prosecution has so far been graphic and gruesome.

*Weinstein injected himself w/erection meds b4 one alleged assault
*He showed up outside Annabella Sciorra's hotel room once in his underwear w/baby oil in one hand & a videotape in the other
Prosecutors also described the witnesses who will bolster their case that Weinstein was a serial abuser. One, an actress, met Weinstein @ a hotel where he demanded she have sex w/ him & his asst in exchange for parts in films. “This is how the industry works,” he allegedly said

It’s #WorldMenopauseDay and menopause remains one of the most understudied, under-researched, misunderstood, and therefore under diagnosed and misdiagnosed phenomenon impacting humans.

A quick thread.
I am 50 but going by my mother and other older women in the family (and it infuriates me that is assumptions rather than medically led extrapolation), I will experience late onset of menopause.
However, I can see changes over the last couple of years. Still regular as clockwork periods but these are more Biblical rivers of blood than the dainty (blue) dots that sanitary napkins manufacturers advertise

Day 1 - FB being really annoying rejecting ads for no reason.

Had to go through their support to have them approved. Now running fine.

Won't really make a judgement on any of the adsets until at least 2-3 days have passed.
Day 2 - Made 3 sales

Conversion rate and cost per purchase are pretty shit but that's not something I care about at the moment.

Gathering data is the name of the game. Got bare ATCs which is good to see.

Made minor website tweaks -> currency convertor, checkout page script
Day 3 - Made 4 sales today

About 70$ net profit so far (got lucky with some $100+ orders)

Take aways -> selling to rich people who don't care about price is the best

Will try using a ViewContent lookalike audience tomorrow, never done that before.
