RETWEET if you think Democrats should immediately move to DISMISS from the jury any Senator who has been recorded as being ABSENT from the impeachment trial for more than one emergency of no more than 15 minutes. This is the first day of the trial, and 21 GOP Senators are absent. 
PS/ Per LAW & CRIME, a legal news website, attendance at the impeachment trial was outlined by *both* the majority and minority leaders as *mandatory* for all Senators. So it's not clear how any of these folks are safe from disqualification under the rules to which *they* agreed.
PS2/ GOP senators who've run from the truth of who this president is—now faced with being *forced* to listen to reality—have literally *fled* to their offices. Apparently FNC is cutting away from the trial to allow Trump's legal team to rebut Schiff *over Schiff's presentation*.
PS3/ This is a collapse of phenomenological reality. Faced with one of the most expert legal presentations of our generation, a swath of America—Fox News viewers, GOP senators, and right-wing analysts—is literally "shutting off" reality like it's a TV program not to their taste.
PS4/ The rules of mandatory trial attendance were *agreed to*. I don't know why ROBERTS is allowing non-attendance, why the SERGEANT-AT-ARMS is allowing it, why SCHUMER is allowing it, why MCCONNELL is allowing it, why MEDIA is allowing it... I'm completely flummoxed. Speechless.
PS5/ At a minimum—Good Lord, the *bare* minimum—media must start keeping a running account to relay to viewers of how frequently each juror is absent from the trial, i.e., how much of the trial they are going to render a verdict at the conclusion of they literally never even saw.
