Done by phone. Curious - does anyone know if they control for what TYPE of phone line is used? Are the same respondents selected for each study?

Might a hostile nation-state be able to de-randomize their sampling or change results?

are pollsters using systems that hashe responses as they're recorded (using git, some sort of immutable ledger, etc), a proprietary database, excel? is it local, distributed, cloud-based?
This might be very important - I'd love to know the answers to the above questions about polling infrastructure/security, @jaselzer ... is there a white paper you have addressing any of this?

@jaselzer Also, I wonder if anyone has investigated if anyone has been impersonating pollsters this cycle - spoofed phone numbers, etc. This is one point where it would be REALLY useful to know about continuity in respondent selection...
if respondents are asked if anyone else purporting to be pollsters have contacted respondents; if any respondents suddenly stop responding...

And if anything of that sort happened in the 2016 election cycle...

So. Let's say information going to a campaign is not mandated to be included in FEC reports.

For something somebody happens to know offhand, that's reasonable.

But when something is not known IN ADVANCE and requires research, which most people don't do for free:
when a foreign nation-state's intelligence apparatus dedicates a full division solely to a months-long operation to access, exfiltrate, and weaponize information via theft -

it has value to them.

Share that info with the opposition & it inherits the value of the expenditure.
If information is solicited, and is not immediately on hand, if it requires additional effort to procure - that is unquestionably soliciting a thing of value.

So, the Obama administration withheld lethal assistance that was authorized by Congress for Ukraine, but
a) informed Congress of that decision
b) provided alternate military assistance in its stead
c) while continuing to honor the Budapest Memorandum.
d) followed through.
The Trump administration
a) provided lethal assistance to Ukraine for 1 year (gave them a taste for free )
b ) Ukraine incurred sunk costs - an investment of UKR resources for training and maintenance, and got them hooked
c) increased the cost to include providing election assistance for Trump, with a hard deadline that would result in them being cut off for a year if they chose to ignore the cost... i.e. threatened to cut them off while they were jonesing

There may be questions that individuals like Don McGahn could answer about Trump activities or statements made OUTSIDE THE scope of any relevant priviledge - i.e. during the campaign - that would go towards intent...
Anyone involved in the administration or the President's legal team who had any interaction with Trump outside of and/or prior to the inauguration should be require to show up, and to answer all questions except those for which the White House explicitly asserts privilege...

They claim this Florida policy decreases confidence and first time voters. According to the lawsuit the Vote by Mail number is almost identical to 2016 elections, shocker. In 2016 27,700 votes were rejected. (They fail to mention which party) #STOPtheSTEAL
