The "toxic behavior screening service" sold by @Fama_Tech is modern-day phrenology ... utter bollocks wrapped in words of "science".

If Twitter is giving these clowns access to a private API, then @jack needs to prepare for his Cambridge Analytica moment.

@Fama_Tech @jack So it's a simple question, @Fama_Tech, are you using a private Twitter API?

@Fama_Tech @jack Might as well ask @jack and @Twitter, too: is @Fama_Tech using a private Twitter API to scrape longer-dated TLs than the public API allows?

Not holding my breath for anyone to answer this, of course, but it's all going to come out eventually.

I think @Twitter is providing @Fama_Tech private API access to your TL so they can prepare these bullshit “toxic employee” reports on you.

This is *exactly* how Cambridge Analytica worked with Facebook.

My understanding (could well be wrong!) is that github libraries and the like can only scrape the last 20 likes on your TL (or some such limit set by the public-facing Enterprise API).

Twitter sells a private API that gives access to entire TL (ex-deleted tweets) from the beginning of time, but TOS don’t allow direct link to personal ID like @Fama_Tech gives.

A 3rd party claims to have the entire TL, including deleted tweets, and will license.

So here’s where we are. There are 3 possibilities.

1) @Twitter sold @Fama_Tech a Firehose API license with amended ToS to allow personal ID.

2) @Fama_Tech is breaking the Firehose ToS.

3) @Fama_Tech is licensing a shadow @Twitter dB and @jack has lost control of their core IP.
