You know why young Americans approve of socialism more than capitalism? Because of inane and mean-spirited actions like @usbank firing employees for helping a desperate customer on Christmas Eve: "A Grinch Steals a Bank and Fires an Angel" nyti.ms/380QeW0
@usbank When a customer was stranded at a gas station on Christmas Eve, his gas tank and bank account both on empty because US Bank had put a hold on his account, bank employee Emily James drove over and gave him $20 from her wallet. So US Bank fired her.
@usbank And now US Bank CEO Andrew Cecere, who earned $14.1 million, presides over a bank effort to smear this much decorated former employee--fired for doing a good deed--who is reduced to selling blood plasma so she doesn't become homeless.
@usbank I suggest that US Bank CEO Cecere reinstate Emily James and promote her. And to show contrition, he might sell blood plasma and donate the proceeds to a charity of Emily's choosing. Grrrrr. nyti.ms/380QeW0
