Guilty plea in Atlanta federal jobs training program bribery.
Individual was accepting bribes to direct students toward training providers who paid up. Similar to Baltimore arrests connected to the former mayor.

Graft like this exists in every federal program & has become a key target of the FBI & Justice Department. Often using agency inspector generals to find cases & probable cause to get the FBI access to investigate.
This case involved the US Dept. of Labor OIG & the State of Georgia OIG to identify & investigate suspects for hand off to the FBI & DOJ. Let's hope he has flipped!

FISA abuse shall be on the agenda, so I expect to hear a few new nuggets. Even Nadler is complaining about FBI 'errors' in FISA cases...
Nadler also wants answers on the supplemental background check on Justice Kavanaugh during the confirmation process. Or he wants an excuse to claim the FBI bowed to the White House...
Nadler trying to find out which members of the coup are under criminal investigation. Asking Wray to confirm investigations on coup plotters in Congress & other places. Wray says, we have only been asked to conduct investigations based on criminal predicates!

This is interesting... Scammers arrested in Ukraine in 2017, were using rubber masks to pose as govt. officials to try & scam companies into paying money for covert operations.
In this case, posing as a French Defense Minister seeking ransom to terrorists

Targets included kings, presidents, businesses, church leaders & others. Extradited from Ukraine in 2017...

United Auto Workers moves to expel members & executive indicted for corruption. This is a 5-6 year investigation that is finally hitting home & causing big results.

The case has lead to indictments against UAW officials, GM executives, Chrysler engineers, & a RICO lawsuit by GM against Fiat Chrysler for bribing UAW to give GM a worse labor deal.
Several of the UAW executives have resigned from the union to avoid being expelled by a trial.

1. The nation has over $22 trillion in long-term debt. We have been engaged in “overseas ventures” (aka “small wars”) continuously for almost 20 years. The Chinese have been stealing our lunch for 40 years.
2. Obamacare was foisted on an unsuspecting public, resulting in skyrocketing premiums and loss of long-time general practitioners. And Congress has, in general, fought the implementation of the MAGA agenda for the past two years while spending much time “investigating” POTUS.
3. Congress fiddles; the country burns (apologies to the Emperor Nero and the historian Suetonious). And the only accountability that exists is to the voters although the reelection decks are stacked against outsider-challengers (~90% of incumbents win reelection!).
