Quite true. Yet a poisonous life causes others to suffer its toxic effects. Rejoicing the end of the suffering a poisonous person causes you isn’t rejoicing their demise; it’s rejoicing the end of suffering—a natural, healthy, and appropriate response to such cessation.
Put another way: if you want people not to rejoice at your death, don’t live a life that causes so much relief in its ending.

A life people might rejoice leads to a death people might mourn—and vice versa
