So I wrote 70 articles for Forbes Science in my first year!

Here’s the backstory to this milestone: after my dad died, my sibling took up one of my dad’s hobbies, photography, to be closer to him. So I was inspired to take up another one of his hobbies—writing. (1/9)

I have never thought of myself as a writer, but I started submitting to free platforms (@RapidEcology). I feel strongly about having at least 2/3 of passion, prestige, and pay. So I applied to many, many outlets and got more practice, but paid. (2/9)

@RapidEcology I started to write for Forbes after applying to the science editor’s Twitter post (such great opportunities on here). I try to deliver straightforward pieces for fast scrollers who wanna learn about science. Here are my six absolute favorite articles from this past year! (3/9)
