1/3 Absolutely HAVE to share this as an example of the shamelessness that afflicts some Bollywoodians. A writer I know & used to respect, brought me a very nice story, I took him to a studio & they loved it too & asked us to send in a script, which I would direct.
2/3 This man's offspring is an aspiring actor. I connected the young person to various casting agents I know, with personal recommendations in good faith. Cut to- the writer goes AWOL & after many unanswered calls & messages, reminding about the script, says, 'Its not working!'
3/3 I offered to discuss & brainstorm, but he went AWOL again. I'd wasted my goodwill at the studio & lost face there. Suddenly, he & the offspring are messaging again for help in acting assignments. I am amazed! Doesn't he know that the 'sins of the father.....!'....?!? 🤔🙄🤨

There is no one like the Sikh community when it comes to taking the initiative for solutions. In Mumbai, PMC (PUNJAB AND MAHARASHTRA BANK), the mouthpiece of Sikh community in the banking sector in Mumbai, has gone bankrupt. It had branches all over India. country. 1/n
2/n Bank was primarily managed by affluent Sikhs. It was a cooperative bank. In advances, they had given more than 10,000 crores to bogus parties without any securities. Thousands of people, who had kept faith in them, had lost.
3/n Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Sabha, which manages all Gurudwaras in Mumbai, had met and had unanimously passed a resolution to throw out all eight Sikh directors from the community with their family. They cannot have any relations with community and cannot enter any Gurudwara.

("Ex parte" is Latin for "from." An ex parte communication is one coming from only one party, not providing any notice to the other party. Basically the opposite of a letter copied to opposing counsel, filed publicly, and served via the electronic filing system.)
It is quite literally impossible to overstate how fantastically dumb Ty Beard's "ex parte" characterization is

The motion is weak and the basis is LOLable, but my suspicion is that the judge will grant it (though likely for less than 3 weeks)

Defendants will argue the burden is on Plaintiff to show good cause (the motion doesn't do that), plus ongoing harassment

Positive for the Defendants. He gives their attorneys lots of usable material

A good rule of thumb as y'all see an assortment of "bUt ThEy LiEd UnDeR oAtH" tweets from conVics is that they're typically projecting – accusing others of the things they themselves or R.Broly have done

Wishing a Happy 86th birthday to the Metro Man E.Sreedharan, the man behind two of the greatest engineering projects in modern India- Konkan Railway and Delhi Metro, pulled off under the most challenging circumstances.
While Sreedharan is widely acclaimed for the Delhi Metro, for me the Konkan Railway was a far bigger achievement. One of the most challenging project, considering the terrain involved, to me wud be Sreedharan's greatest achievement.
And to think that Sreedharan was actually bought out of retirement for Konkan Railway, his tenure had come to an end in June 1990. It was the then Railway Minister George Fernandes who appointed him as CMD of Konkan Railways, and the rest as they say is history.
