I tweeted yesterday about some junkfood being marketed as healthy. Fortunately, better choices ARE available! Saw these at the supermarket tonight. A lot of dang plastic for a tiny amount of food, but it’s almost zero carb, good prot & fat. Better to just travel w/your own food.
But these are good in a pinch, as are these, below. Now THIS is what I call “keto protein!”
Suckers (and confused, overwhelmed people desperate to feel & look better) are born every minute, and, sadly, so are people who love to take money from them.
What I like about these (the HB egg with bacon or salami, cheese) is that they really are low carb, good protein & fat. So many places market things as “high protein” when they’re like 75% carb. (Famous café, I’m lookin’ at YOU.)

Am I the only one driven absolutely crazy by this shite? FFS. Chicken bone broth oil? (Chocolate flavored! 😂) I guess if you put MCT oil in something, it’s automatically keto and people will throw their money at you.
I’m in the wrong business. SMH.

What, pray tell, is a “ketone activator?” The long pepper fruit extract, perhaps? 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️
I can’t even begin to imagine how much money Dr. you-know-who is making off of this.

Making my way (ridiculously slowly) through the book from @tednaiman & @WilliamShewfelt. I agree with others that it is a MASSIVE HOME RUN. Learning some stuff that's new and reinforcing a lot of what I already knew. Dynamite images. Clear & concise.

@tednaiman @WilliamShewfelt However, I stand by what I said when I first started reading it - I don't think it's great for total newbies. Some of it is, yes, definitely. But some of it's a little advanced, even though I know they did their best to, as Ted would say, "dumb it down as much as possible." ;-)
@tednaiman @WilliamShewfelt It's still a great resource and for most part, they *do* distill things down to the very least you need to know & understand to get the results you want. Going to be changing my own diet a bit to see what happens. I can stand to lose a significant amount of lard, so here goes.

Right. No-one asked for it, but several of you fuckers need it, so here's my tips for creating a good #podcast:
1. Edit your work. Listen to what you've recorded and take the time to cut out the erms, the ums, the slurpy mouth noises, coughs, farts, etc.
And for the love of fuck, don't eat or drink into the microphone.
2. Edit your work. If your episodes are consistently more than an hour long, I will move on without listening. There is no subject I want to hear about for that long that can't be either restructured into smaller episodes, or more strongly edited.
