Reminder that we likely won't know conclusive results from the CA primary for a week or more, at least on anything close. That's because we make it easy to vote:

Also, when it comes to the presidential race, California is NOT a winner-take-all primary. Therefore, it's entirely likely that 2 or more candidates will divvy up the delegates, but knowing exactly who gets how many could again take a week or more.
All of which is to say that every state should have the same damn primary system and that that system should be as inclusive as possible and as secure as possible, even if we don't know the results immediately.
