All the three major world powers of the time- Rome, Persia & Bharath faced the onslaught of the Huns. But unlike the Romans and Sassanians, the great Guptas never submitted nor lost. Chandragupta II, Kumaragupta and Skandagupta won major wars against many unnamed Huna barbarians.
After 480 CE, Toramana the Hun finally broke through the Gupta defenses and swept into Malwa and the Gangetic plains. He was defeated by Aulikara King Prakasadharma in 515 CE. His son Mihirakula met the same fate with Maharaja Yasodharma. Hunas were never heard of again in India.
