@dvassallo YMMV but after doing the portfolio thing for a long time and see many people do it, my ambient impression is more of us should quickly focus on one thing, possibly using one other thing as a stair step to it.
@dvassallo Concretely, after one owns a viable SaaS product, almost no economic activity pays better than marketing or sales for the SaaS product, particularly when you think of the implicit value of the equity associated with it.
@dvassallo Peanut gallery: selling an annual SaaS contract for $10k puts $8k+ in your prior-to-taxes pocket but also increases the value of the company by at least $30k. Selling $10k of e-books does only one of these things.
