2) Just walk out. Remember when the White House dumped thousands of new documents on Senate Judiciary *the morning of the Kavanaugh hearing*?

3) Use your body. Go to the airport. Go to the tent city for kids. Force yourself into the enclosure. Refuse to leave.

4) Name names. We all know Nielsen approved the child separation policy. We all know McAleenan promoted it internally. Who were their chiefs of staff? Their lawyers and enablers?

5) Only in a world where legislators get their power from actually passing bills are they out of power.

6) Approps riders. Normally you have to be careful with these because you could get pie on your face. But Trump, perfect as he is, manages to own every shutdown and near shutdown. The next time he does this, put even more riders into the mix.
7) Embarrass him on the world stage. He says he doesn’t care what leaders think of him. Right. Next time he’s about to destroy another global norm with Dictator XYZ, make it clear *to that country* that you’ll reverse it.

8/ Legitimacy isn’t some static switch that turns on when you take office. It is something you gain or lose daily based on *how other people treat you.*
