I think the Woke rule is: "if I become aware of something contrary to my values I must stop it or else be an accomplice". But in the modern digital world we are all without clothes and unavoidably at each other's throats.
Awareness is related to the concept of liability. But what about artificial intelligence systems? As they presumably grow in awareness they also become more liable. Can we live in a world where Skynet is morally responsible for preventing our 'private' behavior?
And of course the killer question: "whose mores does Skynet enforce?" The school system's? Why not Skynet's itself?
Is it really so far fetched to imagine a situation where some provider is sued for failing to stop someone from accessing child porn or a neo-Nazi site on the grounds traffic analysis from packet headers should have made them "aware" in principle of the transgression?
The ultimate paradox of globalism is that for interconnectedness to work it has to be combined with some form of decoupling. You need walls as much as bridges to coexist. Look at the apps on your phone. If they weren't componentized they'd collide.
