NEW: In a July 2010 appearance, Mike Bloomberg derided Obamacare as "a disgrace," saying it would do "nothing to fix the big health care problems in this country." He added the law "just created another program that's going to cost a lot of money."

It's part of a string of critical comments on Obamacare we identified, a program he now praises and wants to build on. He also said the law "really dysfunctional," would increase hospital overcrowding, and did not help solve rising costs in health care.

Comment from the Bloomberg campaign argued he supported health care reform in 2009 and thought the bill didn't go far enough – (though this is somewhat undercut by criticism of the House bill a month later) including adding the House bill's public option.
