📣 Exceptional discovery from the excavations at the Curia-Comitium (#RomanForum) [THREAD ⬇️]

An underground chamber has re-emerged next to the Curia-Comitium complex with a tuff sarcophagus of about 1.40 m in length, associated with a circular element, probably an altar.

XVI). No coincidence that the #LapisNiger, the black stone indicated as a funereal place related to the death of Romulus, is located in axis with the underground chamber
