I think my take is the Sanders campaign doesn't actually think Fox has been better to them than MSNBC, but finds it tactically useful to suggest as much as a way of trying to leverage better MSNBC coverage, since that would both be more beneficial to them and is more plausible.
Is that short-term thinking that undermines long-term efforts to minimize the damage caused by the president's personal megaphone? Yup.
