There are a few reasons why training has to be so tough. First, the stubborn just take a long time and a LOT of self caused hardships before they are willing to straighten out.

For the gentle though, we would have behaved just fine if we never came down here to this cold world.

But behaving is not the only goal. People in this world forget sometimes that there is a real society there that is not run by magic. Yes it may seem so, but it is not.

The big danger for the gentle is that we do not understand how evil works, and what some are capable of.

We do not naturally sense danger from those who lie sometimes.

When I was a teacher, I really was very bad at it. I knew content really well, organized the classroom and the lessons fine enough. They big problem is that I expected kids to be a little squirrelly and loud, but

I did not expect them to be half as bad as they were. They do things that make no sense that I never have seen kids dare to think of doing. They behave horribly. Not all but enough. Then there is no help from administration, and the school is more designed to indoctrinate, not

build strong kids. It all is an epic fail of schools designed to make people into mind controlled zombies and kids who are fed up and ready to do anything but listen.

Sorry to get off subject, but one major point is that no matter how bad an individual kid was, we would sit down

make a plan to get behavior better and they would be so sincere sounding and just wanted another chance. Then logic and compassion would find a nice fair way to give an opportunity for the kid to get out of trouble.

Well, I underestimated the behavior and did not understand

How short sighted and irrational some were. It just sucked the not of life out of me and did not get the love of the subject I had put to the class.

But enough of that. They main point is that the leadership in the other side does not have to deal just with rough students.

It has to ensure the long term safety of our society from any threats internal or external over all the time from now to a hypothetical point where we can progress enough to be able to relax more.

Over our roughly 20,000 year history since the leap to the Eternal society,

We have seen threats from the old world, their complete destruction, and many many students and adults in the trial of fire betray us and cause potentially dangerous problems. There are points in our history where we almost did not make it.

We have also seen records and signs

Of other ancient group(s) that wiped themselves out long before our Eternal society developed. There IS NO REAL group around but our Eternal society. We have to make all the "real" ET groups as needed, because there are none here.

So those going to leadership CANNOT under any

circumstances underestimate or not understand how threats come, or how deceptive and hidden they are.

Do you see how easily works of darkness can happen, and how they can quickly threaten a while society? They are very dangerous.

We the gentle must have enough experience

to understand how the dangerous work and thin
We get very forgiving on the other side. Not being in pain, and also needing to get any rifts between us resolved, we forgive very easily.

That is what we need and what we must have, but in the other hand, we have to still

instinctively remember how threats work so we can see them and safeguard our society. If we came across a violent species on another world that could threaten us or others, we cannot decompression come before safety. That would not be fair to us or to the many others

that the hypothetical other species could hurt. We need to be ready and capable of making fair but sometimes tough decisions that CD theoretically mean the death of some.
It is not easy to be both good and understanding of how serious the very real threats are.

We live in a natural world. Nature is not what we see, believe it or not. We get a more game version now than what it was. Nature is very dangerous and not kind to those who are gentle.

We must be always soft and gentle, but we also must be wise and able to do whatever it takes

to make sure that we are not the next group that others see had died out.

So suffering, even intense suffering is not what anyone wants. The reality though is that we have to find ways for people to learn the same lessons in ever easier ways.

It has gotten easier over time.

We continue to work on developing newer genetics and education methods. The mind has to be capable of learning without as much pain. That is not as easy as it sounds, at least with the very long term time frame. We are getting better at that. Those born in the Era of Peace

will likely have more simulator time they get back than some do now.

Together we have to learn and find out way forward. We are coming into the Era of Peace. When you all get to leadership some day, you can help solve the problems to make learning more fun and less brutal.
