1/Honestly, the #cryptoart space can easily step up their game. 🤷‍♂️

I’ve been trying out the shoes of an NFT creator and viscerally feel the pain of blockchain’s users and customers.

2/Only 1 out of the 3 major NFT origination platforms has login without a cryptowallet.

As a result, I lost a sale yesteday because my buyer simply couldn’t make a purchase on the go at #NFTNYC.
3/Buyers need a smooth onboarding experience so we can encourage them to make sales and build a demand side! 💵

At the same time, requiring an email is terrible for cryptonative buyers who want to keep their assets private. 🕵️‍♀️
4/When we post blogs on @Medium, we get automatic eyeballs. But #cryptoart platforms don’t have big audiences or distribution mechanisms. They rely on the creators themselves to promote the work, and sometimes on @Cent incentives to drive potential bidders.
5/Yesterday, I chatted to 100 people about my latest work yet it is still sitting at 5 views. I suspect that I am a terrible marketer, but also that viewers have no quick way to find me in the #cryptoart world. Discovery and search on platforms leave much to be desired.
6/It’s a missed opportunity that two years into #cryptoart, no one has put forward a credible mobile experience for followers!

Creators have followers who should be notified whenever a new piece drops. In its heyday, @editionalapp did this *really* well and I miss it a lot.
7/The platform who will build a mobile experience will see better user growth, engagement, and probably sales. It’s an easy competitive advantage in a market that essentially depends on user engagement for success. #NFTsOnTheGo
7/NFTs suffer from low liquidity. There are a few projects working on this, and #artcoins from @ConnieDigital @YuraMironArt @mightymoose18 @mera_takeru (and many others) provide another avenue.

If you’re interested in the NFT liquidity space, DM me because I have some ideas.
8/Finally, while there are some “NFT funds” coming together, we really need an index for #cryptoart and the #NFT space in general.

Being able to purchase an index token for #cryptoart will enable new investors to channel capital into this space more easily and everyone wins.
9/If you’ve been thinking about #cryptoart indices, or want to work on this area, let me know.

Otherwise, let’s keep working on user experience for creators and buyers. My DMs are open if you want feedback!
