Noooooooo! This was one of the best shows on Twitter. Bill Mitchell better step up his game now and start hanging out in more hipster coffee shops.
I was in a hipster coffee shop and I heard howls of pain coming from people as the news of Jacob's ban rippled through the crowd. "Who will be our voice!?!?" they caterwauled.
An especially distraught young hipster immediately opened up his laptop and created a "Jacob Lives!" Twitter account as the other customers tearfully chanted "Build that Wohl, Build that Wohl!"

Rep. Gosar (R-AZ) does cross-examination about as well as one would expect a dentist to do it.
No shade on dentists. I really appreciate mine who's really good at dentistry. Not such a good cross-examiner, however. I wouldn't ask my lawyer to replace a crown, FWIW.

But seriously, Cohen's response--"ask her how many black people are employed as executives at the Trump Organization"--was perfect. Meadows moved off the point and then started hysterically screaming about something else.
Starting to think that the GOP members on this committee got together to watch Green Book last night.

The truth is, the household fallacy has been weaponised for purely political ends: to prevent progressive spending policy from gaining legitimacy. Its apparently instinctive logic disguises the truth– what is true for an individual household is not true for the government.
By cutting its spending the government also ends up reducing its own income. So unlike a household, government spending and income are not independent of one another - reductions in government spending when economy is under performing leads to higher debt and lower growth.

Sorry for the paywall, but the paper is well worth the $5. Makes me think of hybrid #PoW & #PoS as a potential solution (part of the thinking around our $DCR investment), as research for pure #PoS is ongoing.
Paper confirmed my concerns around what on-chain transaction fees may have to be when the coinbase reward goes to zero (to accomodate 0% rate of inflation). Depending on assumptions: $18,700 to $37,400 to $108,700 per txn.
