Yet just 2 candidates are proposing and only 1 “wrote the damn bill”.

Feels like a massive aspect of the Bernie success story.
This time last year lots of candidates rhetorically supporting Medicare-for-all. But they edged away, backing public option instead. (Even Warren now says public option first). Were they out of step with party base?

Reminder re Steele - he’s the ex-MI6 agent who compiled a load of memos detailing allegations on Russian election meddling pre-2016.

Most controversially included the Trump Moscow hotel tape claim - always fiercely denied by president and never proven.
Having talked to a bunch of Steele’s friends / associates, it is clear concerns re welfare were genuine.

In summer + autumn of 2016, as Steele elevated his findings via the FBI and then later with US journo briefings, his fears rose.

Last night, I was biking home and got hit by a car that was going very fast. I flew off my bike and landed on my back, and thought I might be seriously injured for a short but terrifying stretch of time. But I didn't call an ambulance, because I was worried about the cost.
I probably should've called. I laid in the street moaning in pain for a bit. But the guy who hit me had stopped and helped me on my feet, and I realized I could stand up. So the first thing I did on my feet was weigh how injured I might be with how much an ambulance would cost.
I'm lucky. It could've easily been so much worse. The guy who hit me was very apologetic, acknowledged immediately that it was his fault, that he wasn't looking as he made a turn through a green light, agreed to pay for whatever, called me today to check up on me.

With all of the talk and action on NFL futures, I wanted to share another story.

This time of year, there are so many wagers being placed on teams to win the Super Bowl. Literally every day and has been that way for months.

And it’s not just on..
the “good” teams or the “popular” teams. It’s on everybody. This year, yes, way more on the Bears and Browns, but just yesterday, I saw Titans, Dolphins, Jaguars, and Redskins just to name a few.

Las Vegas sees people from all over so the future pools are really a big part of..
the business here. Not just NFL either

Meaning, I saw tickets on TCU and BYU to win the NCAA championship, the Texas Rangers to win the World Series and the Ottawa Senators to win the Stanley Cup yesterday alone. High odds, but in reality, umm, yeah.
