The then DG ISPR Gen Ghafoor himself claimed that #Pakistan hadn't use F-16 against #IAF. Here a part from his speech where he can be heard saying so.

Later Pakistan accepted F-16s were used in aggression against India

#Pakistan F-16 fired AIM-120C-5 (which were defeated) but due to fear of reaction of #US on violation of use of them, didn't accept use of F-16.
But India submitted proof by showing the debris .

Now as two lies are busted come to a third point.

Pak initially claimed they had three IAF pilots under their custody.

But only one of them was an IAF pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman (who shot down PAF F-16) .And then DG ISPR started to change their stands frequently

From three captured to one captured and one being taken to the hospital to only one being under their custody... Maj Gen ultimately came to the truth ..there was one and only one Indian.

It was indeed a PAF F-16 which was shot down by IAF Mig-21.

This is indeed sad incident and much unfortunate is the pilot name was omitted from mentions by the PAF itself

It is PAF's own statements which turned the wheel against them.

I'm the list of Role of Honour, check PAF mentioned the jet with tail no 606 is an "A" variant.

But in reality it is twin seat "B" version.

Why they tried to hide that? Tried to erase memory of one pilot?

Later they accepted it was a B variant.

IAF didn't mention any perticular tail no of downed F-16, but it is PAF itself who contradicted own statement.

Whereas Danyal Gilani, current Chairman Central Film Censor Board , Pakistan had posted a false statement which LM instantly debunked.

Even many foreign medias accepted that IAF Mig-21 had shot down a PAF F-16 during a dog fight.
